When do you open?
The site opens for camping from 22nd March 2024 and closes on 29th September 2024. Bookings are now open.
When does High Season start?
Low Season:
17th May – 25th May 2023
5th June – 20th July 2023
4th Sept – 30th Sept 2023 (closed)
All Bank Holidays weekends and weekends in June and July are charged at high season rates
High Season:
31st March – 16th April 2023
26th May – 4th June 2023
21st July – 3rd Sept 2023
When can I book?
Bookings are now live for our 2024 season. The office is open from 9am - 4:30pm, for phone bookings on 01792 391203, or you can book online at anytime.
Do you accept dogs?
Yes, dogs are allowed on the campsite with well behaved owners!
Provided they are kept on a short leash and are not free-roaming. Dogs must be exercised off-site, as we do not have a specific dog walking area where they can free-roam.
The beach is close by however, where they can run around to their hearts content. It should also go without saying that dog owners are expected to watch their pet at all times and to clean up after them.
Can I request a specific pitch?
For our 2024 season, we dont take bookings for a specific pitches, our campsite is operated on a first come-first served basis and spaces are not reserved, as we are an open-field concept campsite.
This means, you get the choice as to where you would like to pitch up. Please be courteous to others by pitching up in a row, rather than pitching up in circles, groups, or corals. We also ask that you keep your tent 5 metres away from other tents and campervans.

What are the arrival and departure times?
You can arrive from 12 noon on your day of arrival, and must be vacated by 11am on your departure date.
What happens if we arrive late?
we prefer guests to arrive between 12 pm and 9 pm
Am I entitled to a refund when cancelling?
You cannot cancel your booking within 14 days of your arrival date. If you cancel more than 14 days before your arrival date, then we agree to refund your booking, less a £20 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 14 days of arrival, or for inclement weather or early departures.
Are fire pits and BBQ's allowed on site?
Firepits and BBQ's must be kept off the ground, so as not to damage the grass. However, they are not permitted on Bank Holiday weekends, or other very busy weekends. Please check with us, as it will depend on how busy we are as to whether you can use one.
Do you accept groups?
No, we only accept families and couples. Single guests are also welcome. We do not accept mixed or single sex groups. We have a strict 10pm latest "quiet rule", and all campers are required to keep to this, including keeping talking and noise to an absolute minimum.
What is the pitching arrangement?
For tents, we only allow one tent per pitch. If you have two tents, then you must book two pitches. You may park your car on pitch as well.
Do you allow generators on site?
No, generators are not allowed on site.
Can we book for a pitch with electric?
We do not have the facilities for electric hookup fo camping or camper vans.
How do I pay my balance and when does it need to be paid by?
Payments can be be made in full at the time of booking when made online.
When making a booking online you can just pay a deposit of £20 (this is non refundable) and the balance must be paid 14 days prior to the arrival date.
What facilities do you have on site?
We offer an award-winning shower-block facility, with hot water on demand and underfloor heating for comfort.
We have coin-operated hairdryers in the ladies’ shower room and baby changing stations in each shower room.
We have a utilities room, which has coin-operated laundry and ironing amenities.
We also have a phone locker with charging available at reception, our multi-device charging locker provides safe and secure charging for laptops, tablets, and phones
